We’re currently reviewing suppliers for a few data center and enterprise infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. One area we still want to strengthen is physical and network security around critical IT environments. We’re interested in Chinese vendors offering things like secure access control, rack-level monitoring, environmental sensors, network security appliances and centralized monitoring platforms. This isn’t about finding the cheapest hardware. What matters more is stable firmware, proper documentation, API support and products that can stay available for several years.
